Nokia X6
The market for Nokia smartphone was doing a nosedive in recent year. The company tried everything in their power. They even collaborated with Microsoft to for their ‘Lumia’ smartphones. But then they might’ve had a moment of epiphany and now Nokia is launching new phones in the market. We all couldn’t resist seeing and cheering our childhood-friendly brand stepping forth in the new smartphone market.
Nokia recently introduced the Nokia X6 which is due to release on 31st of July 2018. It is said to be a better pick than Nokia 6.1 and referred to as ‘Xiaomi Killer’ by some. Now, I am not saying that Nokia 6.1 or Xiaomi smartphones are bad, but I am not going to deny the fact that Nokia X6 surpasses them on-paper.
Reason to pick Nokia X6
Nokia X6 has a bigger battery capacity as compared to its predecessor. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The phone is not limited to just 4GB of RAM. In fact, it is available in 6GB RAM model.
It has a dual-camera setup and can capture images with bokeh effects. This feature is not available in Nokia 6.1.
The Nokia X6 delivers better performance because of its Snapdragon 636 chipset. Nokia 6.1 has a Snapdragon 630 which makes it slightly poorer than the X6.
Nokia X6 has a better design. It has a taller screen which lets you enjoy more content while moving around.

Nokia X6 has an aluminium and glass design. It sports a 5.8-inch IPS LCD screen which has a full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080, a 19:9 aspect ratio, a 435ppi, and the display is secured by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs of the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. Nokia X6 is available in 4 & 6 GB of internal storage which is expandable.
However, if you are not into using a microSD card, then you can use the dual-SIM feature of the phone. X6 is compatible with 4G LTE networks for better connectivity in every area. The camera comes in 16 + 5MP dual-camera setup along with a 16MP sensor having a f/2.0 aperture. The battery of the phone is 3060mAh and supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
There’s a dual-tone, dual-LED flash at the rear panel. Nokia X6 comprises obvious features like Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and more.
Additionally, a fingerprint reader is also at the back for an easy device unlock.
Expected Price
The price of Nokia X6 in China is around CHY 1299 which is about 13429.85 INR for a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage piece. The price reaches around CNY 1499 which is 15497.57 INR for a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage piece. As for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage device, the price is CNY 1699 which is 17565.30 INR. The official prices have not decided yet. But I hope this can give you a rough figure of how much price we might be looking at.
