Design

ASUS Zenfone 5Z is a riff on the iPhone X and the change in the notch driven smartphones. It has a tack sharp screen with excellent viewing angles. The screen is 6.2 inch which makes the front of the phone is a sight to be seen. Viewing angles are stunning and wait till you see the brightness levels with your own eyes. 

The Zenfone 5Z has a chin that makes the design quite a bit similar to OnePlus 6.

The volume and power buttons can be found on the right-hand side of the phone. The bottom edge dons a USB Type C port and headphone jack along with a bottom firing speaker. The top earphone acts like a speaker just as iPhone 8 and the surprising thing is – it has a decent bass. 

The back panel is made of glass and has a spun metal style design under it. The metal underneath shifts as the phone is moved which gives it a touch of elegance. 

The top left area of the back is covered by a dual camera module. The primary camera is 12MP and secondary is 8MP. There is a pro mode for the capturers which helps tweaks the shots and is very functional. 

I personally congratulate ASUS on the way they reduced the bloat. The phone has a limited set of pre-installed apps which affects the performance of the phone a lot. The interface of 5Z is decent and the colour selection is simply exquisite.
